Comments about Chinese Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes:
I too thought this was translated Mother Goose rhymes, which I didn't want. The English sounds pretty good. I liked that there are traditional characters, but my Chinese isn't that good, so I can't read the Chinese to my kids. I also can't comment on the accuracy. The author selected nursery rhymes from two books published in 1896 and 1900 as well as original traditional Chinese text. The first publication date is 1968, so I think this is well done considering those things and that there aren't many nursery rhyme books available for non-fluent Chinese-speaking/reading people. I'm glad to have any books to help me teach Chinese to my kids and learn more myself.

The title of the book is misleading. This is not a translation of "Mother Goose" rhymes. I bought this book at another web site that doesn't have a good description of the book.
