I used this in my summer school class to help teach beginning Chinese vocabulary to my non-Chinese students. They enjoyed the songs and singing along with them, but they enjoyed more traditional Chinese Songs translated in English better. It is a good CD for beginners. My beginners did love the counting song and they challenged themselves to try singing backwards from 10-1 in Chinese, just like one of the songs.

My daughter loves this CD! She always asks to listen to it. We started off with Sing With Allie but she now prefers this. One negative-- my husband thinks the lyrics are silly and laughs every time he is forced to listen.

I was pleasantly surprised that the books were a good size and the writing was easy to read. This is a good supplement to other Chinese learning, but does not teach the correct tonal pronunciation in itself (because it follows the music). My 6 year old son does not enjoy this as much as one with more (American song) tunes which he already recognizes.
